Srs.  Anne Scott and Malachy Mathews Celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Religious Profession at Mount Oliver, Dundalk on 18th May 2015

We congratulate Srs. Malachy and Anne on the occasion of their Diamond Jubilee.  It was a truly joyful celebration, with plenty of happy remembrances being shared among family members, friends and Franciscan Sisters.  Sr. Anne's sister, Betty, made and decorated the Jubilee Cake, which was mignificent.  Sr. Malachy's brother spoke eloquently after the meal. Sr. Patience's Graduation

We congratulation Sr. Patience Nymangoda and her fellow classmates who graduated on 2nd May 2015. Sr. Patience graduated with a Diploma in IT and was happy to have her parents and Srs. Louise Malone and Deirdre Burgess join her for the graduation ceremony.  Patience is now teaching in St. Dominic's Secondary School, Mutare, Zimbabwe.  For photos, click here>>>

South Sudan Marks World Health Day 2015

The World Health Organisation (WHO) is responding to 'A Grade 3 Emergency in South Sudan'.   On 7th April South Sudan joined the rest of the world in marking World Health Day under the theme: From farm to plate, make food safe.  Our FMSA Sisters in South Sudan are at the coal face of trying to improve Health Care. Irish Aid visit Chipata

Irish Aid/Misean Cara visit St. Paul's School, Chipata Compound, Lusaka

The First Lady of Uganda pays private visit to FMSA Generalate in Dublin

Mrs. Janet Museveni, the First Lady of Uganda, paid a private visit to our Generalate on 13th April 2015 while on a visit to Ireland.
