The General Chapter of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters for Africa meets in Nairobi

Delegates to the General Chapter met in Nairobi between April 30th and May 26th. The chosen Theme of our 2019 Chapter was "Seeing Anew with Gospel Eyes"- 'Their Eyes were Opened… They Recognized Him… “Did not our Hearts Burn within us as He talked to us on the Way!’ (Luke 24: 31-32).  Our General Chapter meets every six years. A Chapter is a time for planning, but it is also a time for renewal and mission: 'Preach the Gospel and when necessary use words’(said St. Francis of Assisi).... 'You are Missionaries… that means you must open your hearts to the whole world.(Mother Kevin). If you feel God is calling you to open your heart and become a missionary, send us a message on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/fmsa.1903/ or email us at  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
